another detail.....the pitman-arm was untreated, bare steal, so very prone to rust. I ordered RPM, from a company called ECS Automotive; bare steel part needs to be heated a little, smeared in with colorless RPM and this stuff will prevent the part from rusting, but you still keep the original bare look. Pitman-arm is untreated, bare; the snapring and nut were cleaned and i found out that the snap-ring is black fosfated, and the nut is natural cadmium plated.

  1. Your ride is gonna be awesome! You must visit Sweden with it. My Belvedere projekt has been standing still. But that doesnt mean nothing happens. I have located a neighbour with 2 1964 plymouth fury hardtops. I got a new running engine (318 poly) with 727 tranny from him. I also got two nice rear fenders for free.. Keep on working. Its really inspiring.. Almost makes me wanna go outside in the snow and begin work on my car! Keep posting. I am always looking for updates on your blogg. Best regards - Peter from Sweden
