My friend Wes Pieper, from Boerne, Texas, sent me a box full of NOS parts; non-useable parts for my car though, but nice to put in a cabinet in our livingroom. Wes is the vice-pres of the Dodge Charger Registry club of America.
measuring the positions of the marks, so they can be duplicated in a later stage of the restoration. You can also see the dripmarks on the torsionbars; they were dipped in glossy black paint for 3-4 times; which gave them a thick coating of paint, but it also gave the bars paintruns. Will be duplicated ofcourse!

talking about finding original parts; the rod-ends still have original dustcaps on them; in very nice shape; they will be cleaned and put on the Savoy. I will ditch the repro-dustcovers ofcourse! OEM all the way, baby.
tons of trim on a fully loaded Fury...
Today i sorted out all of the stainless and chrome trim from the partscar; half was still on the car..rest was in the trunk. Trim looked perfect! I am not gonna put any side trim on my plain jane Savoy.
